ABOUT
The relentless Copenhagen, Denmark native, Christian Rasmussen, continues to establish himself within the “greatest racing on earth”—the NTT INDYCAR Series—by securing a multi-year contract with the legendary Ed Carpenter Racing team.
After proving his talent at the age of 9 in national karting—clinching what would be the first of many championships— Christian upgraded to higher racing classes. Unsurprisingly, he found success in Danish Formula 4 before moving to the United States to compete in the “Road to Indy.” Rasmussen quickly earned a full-time ride with Jay Howard Driver Development from 2018 to 2021, gaining recognition for his racing abilities and becoming a regular championship contender. His career trajectory soared. In 2018, he became the most winning driver of the season with five race victories and two lap records that still stand today. In 2019, he made history as the first-ever driver to win six consecutive races in the USF2000 Series. In 2020, he won nine races, secured ten podiums, and claimed seven pole positions—earning him the title of second-most winning driver in USF2000 history, and secured the USF Pro2000 championship in 2021.
In 2023, Rasmussen continued his climb up the motorsport ladder by signing with Indy NXT’s HMD Motorsports team. Together, they achieved five wins, eleven podiums, and—unsurprisingly—yet another championship.
Ed Carpenter Racing signed Christian in 2024 to compete in INDYCAR’s ten street and road course events, including the iconic Indianapolis 500. There, he claimed the highest-finishing rookie position in the 2024 Indy 500. And if he wasn’t satisfied with that, Rasmussen took on another challenge in 2024, the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in the LMP2 category, where he delivered a flawless double stint rounding out the victory. His performance garnered widespread media attention and fan interest, prompting his return to the race in 2025.
Known for his “win or go home” mantra, Christian Rasmussen shows no signs of slowing down.
